I recently wrote an article on Prime Reading and what it is about (I really like it). That led me to the next question – can Prime members in England Germany also enjoy Prime reading?
If you haven’t read my article on Prime reading yet, click the link to find out more about what it is. Since I wrote the article I have read several books for free as they were available with Prime Reading. I truly enjoy this, even more than the movies included with my Prime subscription, but suddenly I asked myself a question. Can Prime members in Germany and in England also enjoy Prime reading? Or is Prime reading only available to Prime members in the United States?
Is Prime reading available in England and Germany?
If you visit Amazon.de (also available in English) or Amazon.co.uk you can easily sign up for a Prime membership. But, as you look around at the Amazon store in Germany or England you will quickly discover that there is no such thing as Prime Reading available on those websites.
It might be that it will come in the near future, but as of now this is not available in the given nations. But, even though Prime reading can not be found in Germany and England one should not forget that the Kindle Lending library still exist in these nations. That is also what existed on Amazon.com for a long time, but Prime reading was just a very improved version of this that is much easier to understand and to use. But, until Prime reading arrives in Germany and England you are still encouraged by me to use the Kindle Owner’s Lending Library.
With the Kindle Lending Library you can only borrow one book a month, while you with Prime Reading can borrow ten books at the same time, and there is no limit to the amount of books you borrow per month. The only limitation is that you will can not borrow more than ten books at the same time.
When will Prime Reading come to England and Germany?
I have no clue about that. I do hope that it will come, because it makes borrowing and reading books much funnier and easier. And we live in a world in which we need to read more books. They are there to inspire us, to challenge us and we need to raise up a generation of people who read books (instead of only clicking their mobile devices all the time).
If you know more than me about the arrival of Prime Reading in England or Germany, please write a comment and let me know.
