I just stumbled onto the following quote today by Arnold H. Glasow, and it made me think! Take a look at the quote, and read some of my thoughts about it afterward.
It says: “A good leader takes a little more than his share of the blame, a little less than his share of the credit.”
Is it really so? I believe a good leader should care for his workers and the ones he leads. He should take responsibility for what’s going on, and if anything actually goes wrong, he should be the first to stand out and take responsibility. If a worker knows he can trust his leadership, he will work much better. If he can trust his superior, he will do his uttermost to do his best, because he knows his leader would do the same for him.
And when something goes right and business is booming, make sure to let your co-workers shine. They will love you for it!
Do you have any special thoughts coming to your mind as you read this quote?
